Dreams Villa Resort – Lipa Lodge Resort

Destination wedding on Koh Samui of Yulia and David, wedding couple from Russia and Australia. We started the coverage with traditional Russian games at Dreams Villa Resort. The groom had to pass through many stages to get to the bride.

The ceremony was held on a lawn at Lipa Lodge Resort. It was a beautiful and intimate ceremony. After the ceremony we did some group photos with the wedding guests before proceeded to fun portraits of the bride and groom. The wedding couple also had couples of lanterns released into the sky.

Once we’ve finished up with our little photo session, we went back to Dreams Villa Resort where the wedding reception took place.

Destination wedding pictures from Nicole and Shane’s wedding at Lipa Lodge Resort on Samui (Samui Island, Koh Samui), Thailand. The wedding couple along with their families and friends flew from Canada to have their private and intimate destination wedding on Samui Island in Thailand.

The wedding photography coverage started with bride and groom getting ready for their big day in their hotel room at Lipa Lodge Resort. Both bride and groom were staying at the same resort. It was quite easy for us to photographed both of them getting ready because it was just a matter of walking to another room in the resort. We also used this moment to photograph the wedding rings and wedding dress.

The wedding ceremony was held on a beach right infront of the resort. The setup and decoration were simply beautiful and amazing.
We did group pictures and pictures of the bride and groom right after the ceremony.

The wedding reception reception was set up outside a building nearby and later moved indoor because of rain. There were also firework and speeches.

We photographed the entire wedding without annoying camera flash. Light level during the reception was on the low side but no problem for our cameras and fast lenses. If we were to use camera flash, it would have been very distracting and we wouldn’t be able to get natural looking pictures.
