Thailand Chiang Mai Wedding Photographer – Destination wedding in Chiang Mai Thailand of a wedding couple from Canada.
These photos were taken at Villa San Pee Seua, Kruba Srivichai Monument, Wat Sri So da and 909 NineONine Home Mood Restaurant in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

We started our documentary wedding photography coverage early in the morning at 5.30AM with bride and groom getting ready in their hotel room at Villa San Pee Seua. We then departed for a traditional Thai monk blessing ceremony at Kruba Srivichai Monument and Wat Sri So da Temple which was about 30-45 minutes drive from the hotel. Up to this point, there was no posing or directing. The photos were taken exclusively with documentary approach. We like to document the wedding day as it is without changing or disrupting. After the morning wedding ceremony was finished, we took some fun portraits around the temple. This was when we need to give the wedding couple some directions “posing”.

The wedding couple along with small numbers of their family members came back to Villa San Pee Seua for lunch. After lunch they changed into their western style wedding clothing and before we departed for the restaurant, we took some wedding photos around the hotel. There was a Thai water pouring ceremony held at 909 – NineONine Home Mood Restaurant. This was another Thai wedding tradition. After the ceremony, we proceeded to dinner at the same restaurant. The table was setup right next to a river. It was really beautiful. We also got a chance to take photos of the bride and groom against balloon in the background.
